My school has a program installed on all their computers where when you log off, the computer deletes anything new that is on the local computer, so its like if you were never on it. I want to know what this program is!

I want to major in computer engineering and the like in college. I’m planning to apply to a couple ivy schools. I want to build/design computer parts and electronics themselves.

What sorts of classes should I focus on? I’m going to the 11th grade in September. There aren’t any computer specific classes but I was wondering what colleges like to see if one is going for computer engineering.

I can’t see some of my friends myspace comments and it isn’t because they have them blocked, it’s my computer. It’s isn’t all of my friends just the ones who have recently updates their profiles and I know it’s just my computer. What is difference between a BS in Computer Information Systems and a BS in Computer Science? If I major in CIS, I will be able to easily minor in computer science. Would I be able to get the same jobs with these majors? Do you feel that these majors will become outdated quickly? Right now, I know I am majoring in Finance and minoring in Computer Science. I have 3 onkyo speakers and a 2.1 computer speaker set. I am planning on buying a 5.1 receiver. Would i be able to use the 3 real speakers for front left front right and center, then use the computer speakers for the rear?
